One of the most authentic Indian restaurants around. The staff are informative and friendly. The dishes are large and well seasoned.. The spicy corn soup and curried butternut squash soup are delicious. Plenty of vegetarian options available and if the menu seems complicated- just ask they will be happy to help!
Made spicy accordingly to request. Lasooni Gobi was made well and tasted great - spicy, garlicky, Savory and crunchy. Entree of kofta was disappointing with very bitter sauce and overpowering spices.
Great food. Even better service. When we asked to take our unfinished meals home they offered extra rice to take along. Will definitely return.
My daughter wanted to go here for her birthday, so the whole family went for dinner. The restaurant itself is nice and clean. Good ambiance. We all ordered from the menu. The menu is authentic so the waiter had to interpret the dishes for us. Most of us got Butter Chicken (very good) and I got something different (some kind of curry) and it was delicious and very spicy to be a 3 out of 5. At the end I noticed they had a buffet! I would have ordered that if I had known. The prices are not terrible. When I ordered I didn't think I would get enough food for my money but I did. I'm definitely going back. Best Indian place I've been to in NJ so far. 4 so far.
Been here a few times and tried the Al carte menu as well as buffet. Loved the malai kofta and mango lassi and ice creams on their Al carte menu. Buffet has a good spread of food as well with a mix of veg and non veg apps, curries and rice. Served with fresh naan or roti of your choice. Really good ambiance and the staff are very courteous too. Good for date nights or big groups.
